His education and experience in international privacy and data protection laws cut across three continents with wealth of experience across the EU, Nigeria and Canada. Aileru’s area of expertise includes conducting data processing impact assessments (DPIAs), privacy compliance audits, drafting data processing audit reports, data processing agreement, privacy policies, as well as facilitating privacy compliance trainings for employees to improve organizations privacy compliance posture. 

Aileru is a seasoned lawyer with more than 10 years’ experience in commercial dispute resolution and business advisory services. Aileru is equally an avid writer who has written extensively on best practices in privacy protection. As a writer, he has a number of publications published in print and digital media on wide-ranging legal topics such as privacy protection, access to information, taxation, competition law, human rights, and administration of criminal justice. 

Aileru is a proud alumnus of the prestigious University of Aberdeen Scotland (UK) where he holds a Master’s Degree in IP Law, as well as University of Lagos Nigeria. Aileru is also a proud member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), and the Nigerian Bar Association.
